1. the wedding was really good and in particular the place is awesome (very recommended : tirtha luhur, uluwatu).. congratulations dear inka and ronald, thank you for giving me chance of taking part of your wedding reception, enjoy your life in dubai and wish me luck to visit you in dubai next year! :)

2. finally having proper indo food! mum brought bakmi gm from jakarta for me, and extra 'kue basah' as well, such as kue pepe dan cente manis :) so happy.. then jimbaran seafood, bebek bengil ubud and warung made! nyam nyam..

3. australians definitely love bali.. since last weekend was not a peak season for students going back home, the plane was packed with australians, with their surfing boards as well.. then when coming back here, so many people wearing bintang-shirt (bintang the beer) in airport and when queueing for immigration, there is no queue for foreign passports while if i arrive here in mid february when uni is about to start, it was packed with students talking indonesian everywhere :)

4. on saturday afternoon, we went to kuta for shopping.. and i'd like to buy something for destin so i decided to buy him that-famous-bintang-shirt.. before we went to 'pasar seni kuta', we dropped by small shops and i asked one of them , how much it is and the guy said 25,000.. i was 'oh yeah, it's alright'..

then we went to pasar seni kuta and i asked this one woman, and she said 50,000.. i don't mean to be rude or anything but then i said 'buset' (rough translation : what??).. then she was really really mad and grumpy and saying this 'i understand that you said, and that is very very rude.. if you don't want to buy it then don't say anything'.. and i was thinking to myselg, am i rude by saying that? it's just an expression and it's so damn expensive, i can get that shirt for 25,000 and you offered me 50,000? i was so pissed of and i decided to leave her..

maybe she just broke up with her boyfriend or one customer didn't pay for their stuff so she's just in a really bad mood.. i'm just thinking 'will she do the same thing if i'm caucasian and not indonesian? some people here sometimes underestimate us because they think we are not as rich as foreigners.. tsk tsk..'

anyway in the end, i bought this shirt at another shop for 20,000, and when i showed it to him, he doesn't like it, dangggg :)

four days in bali were just too short.. i had so much fun and really good time with my family :) again, i love baliiii and i wanna go backkk!

long time no blogging, and so much things happened..

i have this new part-time job at the cupcake bakery.. so one night i walked home from the city and i passed this rialto tower.. the store is not opened yet, but they're looking for people.. so i sent them e-mail and there's no reply so i was like oh yeah whatever.. then few nights later i passed that place again and now they're open.. so there i was, submitting my resume and the next day, they called me for training :)

i was so so so happy and i was so relieved.. for the past few days, i had little bit of problems with nando's and things just didn't go well and i hate hate hate nando's so much :) it's like asking for a new job to Him, and there it was the answer to the prayer :)

so yeah, long story short, i quit nando's and july was the last month of nando's.. and now i've been working at cupcakes for about three weeks.. it's so much fun, the people you're working with are awesome, the work environment is really good and the customers are really nice.. finally there's no more shouting and have this chicken's smell after i finish my shift ;)

if you want to grab cupcakes, i really recommend you to visit the cupcake bakery.. my favorite for standard cupcake is banana flavour, for deluxe cupcake is tiramisu but the best is strawberry swirl cheesecake.. it's seriously oh my god :)

and that's about my job, the other things are ronald and inka's weeding..

if i haven't mentioned before, my cousin inka is getting married this august.. i'm very very happy for her and i'm very excited about that :D everything's alright until this early august, the week is just packed with stuff.. for me, since i can't go to indonesia, and they're going to make the dresses in indonesia, so i have to try all the dresses and send those back over.. the first dress is too big, the second dress is too tight, and this and that, and oh my god :)

the civil ceremony was yesterday at the old treasury building, then followed by cocktail at blue stone lounge.. i love the ceremony, it's just really simple with family and friends there :) then for next week, i'm going to bali, yeayyy :)) departing friday morning, the reception is on sunday night then going back to melbourne tuesday morning.. i'm really really looking forward to bali because i just hate winter :D these days melbourne was just so cold with stupid wind and i need sun! :)

so that's about it what happened for the past few weeks.. having fun definitely, i'll just need to organise my time better.. have an assignment due this friday and i don't understand the assignment is about.. so finish this stuff, and going to have fun in bali! :)

the crazy part of it, because i have limited time at home, my joint now is such a mess :) i'm always either tired or so drained when i get home, so there is no time to clean the house.. moreover, vanessa and joe are going back to jakarta for few days.. so it's going to be fun to clean it later :D

anyway have i told you that i always have a good time in the first-half of august? for the past few years, i always have some moments that makes me smile if i remember my august :)

there are lots of things happened since the last time i updated my blog..

the good news : first i passed all my subjects, wihii.. there is this subject that i'm very scared of, i didn't do a good job in the exam so although i have a good average continuous assessment, i suck in the exam and that's why i'm really scared i might not pass the subject.. but oh yeah!
then i had a good holiday, not awesome and sometimes i regret that i'm not joining those people to gold coast, but it's still a good three-weeks-holiday :)

the bad news : definitely jakarta bombings.. after all these years, the terrorists are back and their targets were two of the safest hotels in jakarta.. and i feel sorry for those manchester united fans, because apparently manchester united team is going to stay at one of the hotels and they cancelled their trip to jakarta.. i heard that it's so damn hard to get the tickets, so feel sorry for you guys.. my mum said that these stupid bombings is because of SBY's winning for the election.. it's not official yet though that he wins, but he get most of the votes until these days.. tsk tsk whatever, you ruin the country now, and here in australia, after it's confirmed that three australians are killed, i don't know what australians are going to say about us..

on a lighter note, i'm very very disappointed with masterchef series.. i'm a big fan of masterchef, i never missed a show and even if i missed it, i watch it online and then when it comes to final week, oh whatever.. they let julie wins and yes, i'm not happy about it :D

so yeah, my winter holiday is over :) i take four subjects this semester : principles of econometrics, intermediate micro, advanced corporate finance and debt markets.. principles of econometrics is the hardest subject in econometrics department, so fingers crossed for that one.. through this semester, then i need to decide if i'm going to take honours.. don't get me wrong, i want to, i just don't have the money for it ;)
then after not having even one-day off last semester, this semester i have two-days off, wihii.. not an official day off though, there is one class at 8am and the other class at 3pm.. definitely can't wake up for 8am class, and only one class at 3pm? if i have nothing to do, yeahh i'll come :)
